SOURCE: I need to replace my front wheel bearings and I

You can't just replace the bearings. You've got to replace the entire wheel hub (thank you genius engineers at Chevy). My driver side front wheel was rubbing the frame and the hub cost around $350 plus $150 labor.

The chirp is from scale or a glaze on one of the pulleys. If not black or shiney in color clean it with brake cleaner and spray some belt dressing on the pulleys

Is it normal to have to replace pulley, timing belt and fan belt in renault megane cabriolet after 5 years. How much do these spare parts cost? Have been quoted £750 parts and 6 hour labour costs.

Timing belt on 4 cylinder Renaults should be changed every 50-60000 Km. Consequence of not doing so is having the belt break, and damaging valves and valve lifters (extremely costly) . Replacing the belt is time consuming, and labor intensive. So while the belt is out, its is a good investment to replace pulley, belt tensioner/ roller bearing and water pump belt, which is nearby and has to be taken out anyway, for timing belt replacement. Meganes dont have fan belts, they use electric motors for this duty.

Pulley has problem, but what part is it?

On that truck I believe they only came with a 4 cylinder 2.0 liter engine. if you are seeing the pully all the way at the bottom of the engine, that is called the Harmonic Ballancer / Crank Shaft Pully. They sometimes will shift due to age, if there is a leak . they are made up of 3 parts 2 steel parts with a rubber piece in between them bonded to both steel pieces. the rubber can come unbonded for meny reasons. replace it or it can cause much dammage if it comes completely apart.
