There is still air in system
i belived ther is a valve that is at the rear of this truck that is link to the frame
the brake lines runs true this valves on the way to the rear
in order to get the brakes to blled properly disconect the valve and move leaver
all the way up attach and re bleed brakes furthes one from master cylinder first
comming closer with each one macking sure no air come out before doing next one
then reconect linkage
the valve also prevents rear wheel lock up when truck is empty and allows
more fluide to go true when truck loaded
in empty mode fluide restricted to rear wheels

Break lights stay on,dash lights come on with break peddle..

I'd say you have a short in one of the rear light clusters, or possibly somebody wired a trailer socket wrong. Your dash lights are back-feeding from the rear brake light.

Adjust emergency brake lever to get brake light to stay off

? If the brake light is on, check your break fluid level first & top it off. If not, check your break lights - one could be out. Last - it's likely your pads are worn down & need new breaks. Have it checked.

1997 toyota tacoma. No brake lights

First check the break light bulbs if they are good, it is most likely the break light switch locaoed on the break pedal arm its easy to change, and not costly at all, if this does not do it you may have a slort in your break wires this can be hard to trsck down but may be as easy as puting a piece of tape on a bare wire to fix.

Hi, I have a 2006 Toyota Tacoma and had the rear right leaf spring snap with no weight in it. I was wondering if Toyota had a problem with this in the past.

Its not unusual for a spring to break, usually more apt to break it with bad shocks, as they break on rebound not compression

Where are the wires to connect the trailer breke wires to on the back of a 2005 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4. I found the connector under the dash for the brake controler and a spot for a 30 amp fuse in the fuse...

check inside the break light compartment.
or if you have a plastic guard where you would mount a ball on your bumper, pull it off and look under there.
on my 4 runner it was under a moulding that held the carpet down where the tailgate closed.

How do i change my alternator in my 4x4 2001 toyota tacoma? we got the nuts off and all but its not wantin to break loose? anyway someone would be nice enough to help me out? dont have money for takin it...

There are at least two and maybe three bolt connections. Did you get them all? Disconnect the wires before you go any further ... best to disconnect the battery also.

Hope this helps you.

Diy installing new electric break

yes this can be done by yourself the truck should have come with a pigtail that will plug up under the dash to connect the controller to. if you did not buy the truck new or no longer have that pigtail you can buy them at the dealer they cost approx. $30. all of the newer trucks are prewired for the trailer brakes.
