Question about 2003 Jaguar X-Type
Hi i just brought a jag x type. the coolant is leaking all fluid. is this going to cost a fortune to fix? also the cd changer doesn't work can that be fixed too
I have the same car and had same problem. Your water pump needs to be replaced. That is where the leak is. Not a major job nor that expensive. I recommend using the green 2-year coolant vs. the orange 5-year coolant. The 5 year coolant does not protect well against cavitation (exploding bubbles) which is what caused your water pump leak. (You can research this on the I-net). The standard 2-yr coolant does protect against cavitation.
