Question about 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer

1 Answer

2003 110,000 miles pulled in driveway everything fine. Went to start the next morning nothing. Tried to jump start no. Pulled battery as battery light was on and checked good at Auto Store. Monitor and lights ok. Checked fuses-none blown-no way to check big relay. When I turn key to start nothing happens.

Check your car's ground to make sure it's getting contact, This is the black wire from your battery, follow it till it connects to your frame. may need cleaned for better contact. If this don't work check your positive connection on your starter "the big nut" Because if even in your coil pac it would turn over just not fire, Good luck to you hope this help's.

i heard you, battery is fine but needs to be tested. can it deliver the required cold cranking amps? i had experience like that. measured 12+ volts at battery terminals, & hesitantly tried to jump but no go. took out battery for free recharge, they told me bad battery.

1999 Jeep Cherokee Sport was working fine, then would not start this am, jumped it and it started ok, drove about a mile and battery voltage pegged to the right and check gauges light came on, brought it...

sounds like a regulator malfunction to me..need to connect a battery/alternator tester to the system and see if the regulator is bad.. this will cause full charge of the alternator to enter the system.. this uses the battery as a regulator and will cause overheating of wires and relays..if the alternator can be removed and tested separately(most can), do this and see if this is the case..replace if bad..good luck..

I have a 99 dodge ram, had it since new, low miles, question is, truck ran fine, pulled it into the driveway, went out to start it the next morning, and nothing, no spark, changed the coil, still no spark,...

Have you looked at your main fuse under the hood, the big ones run the starter and high amp accerories. ther located in the plastic box under the hood.

remove and, clean your battery cable clamps then retighten and, test.

Electrical Short???

Has the stereo been changed recently? If not move to the cigerett lighter. These two are most likely the prob. But you could have a bare wire anywhere grounding out. Good luck and hope you find it.

Battery dead after a day (repeatedly.....)

Take your truck to your local Auto Zone and aske them to test your alteranter. They will do this at no charge. If you can "jump" it and it starts ok, I bet the alt is bad. Check it out, costs nothing but your time!

it's a default sensor to keep from blowing motor, you need to check your radiator for leaks. If that doesn't fix the problem , change your alternator. :)
