Does a 1983 porsche 944 2.5L have a fuel shut off switch if so where is it located

I would jump the fuel pump relay first. If it starts replace the relay. Or fix it. Bad diode in it. $50 compared to 50 cents. Done many of them.

1984 porsche 944 sometimes it starts, other time it just cranks. if it does not start, you go back later it will fire right up. replaced fuses, terminals ends, checked coil. it is a random situation and...

Sounds like a fuel filter problem, or fuel pump. Also have you ever had the injectors checked? I had the problem you've described and found both the fuel filter needed replaced, and the injectors cleaned and adjusted.

1984 Porsche 944 no turbo automatic. Will not crank over, I have power out of the ignition, but not to the starter.

Hello there
Most likely it is your electric part of the igniton switch. It is not hard to replace.
That is what you should try first.

Looking for the location of the saftey switch for the fuel pump on my porsche 944

I've had a couple turbos and never ran accross a "safety switch" to my recollection unless aftermarket. I'll go thru my manuals for you if I can find them..

Fuel Line Leak at Pump

depends on why its leaking. If you have to rrplace the pump its costly, if its the line a pain to remove the old one depends if its input from tank or to the engine compartment. You may get lucky and loosen and clean the fitting and tighten back down and have it fixed.

run a fused wire from the positive side of your fuel pump to your "on" side of your ignition switch bypassing the alarm kill switch and, allowing you to drive the car
