Question about 1996 Lexus LS 400
Depending on where you live..I would suggest an exhaust gas Analyzer test you can go to most garages and they should have the machine...I believe your catalytic converter is plugged when going over 35mph the exhaust back pressure is great enough to get through the obstruction anything less will cause loss of power...not 100 percent but its could be likely. you should have a check engine light with an oxygen sensor code...or Catalyst inefficient code....Good luck
