2004 Malibu panel shows check gas cap

Check for applicable trouble codes, see if anything related to evap system? Your emissions system probably pulls a small vacuum on the gas tank and evap system to check for leaks, If it doesn't pass the test, you will get an evap code or gas cap lite? The place that replaced exhaust system can they check for trouble codes? Anything?
To check for codes, yourself, at the least, you need an obd 2 code reader.
I don't know if exhaust repair caused a problem or just coincidence?

2007 chevy Avalanche now has a PO449 and fun thing it didnt happen until i took it in for gas leck. They replace the EVAP system and Fuel Pump? After all this is still get this code when I turn the key on...

Double check that the gas cap seal is not broken, and that the gas cap is fully secured. Sometimes it takes a few days for the car to realize that it's OK and turn the code off. It never hurts to disconnect the battery for 5 minutes just to let the car know that you are in control.

Code p0452 on 2001 grand am 3.4 lit

P0452 The definition is evap pressure system low. This mean it detected a no pressure but rather a leak, There is nothing wrong with the pressure sensor or wiring itself,Fist thing to check is the gas cap, make sure the seals is good shape, The hose connection are firm and clamped down, you basically have a evap leak

Took it to part store put machine on it told me the number p0455 came up said it had to do with muffler had a leak please help

Nothing at all to do with the muffer

PO455 EVAP Control System Leak Detected
(No Purge Flow or Large Leak)

Now you see the value to the parts store code thing

You will need a repair shop, that has an EVAP
Smoke Machine and Scanner, to find and repair
the EVAP System (Evaporative Emissions)

My check engine light on my 2006 Chevy Equinox keeps coming on. I have replaced the gas cap because the original one wouldn't screw on tight. I also took it to a repair shop and they replaced the evap vent...

I would bring it back to the shop that did the work. If the code is coming out as a problem with the evap system it is not abnormal for the system to take 2 or 3 days for it to read again.
