1994 GMC Sonoma 4.3L Vortec V6, I changed the spark plugs and wires. Still won't start. Acts like its going too, then makes a noise kind of like air brakes on the big rig. What else could it

change the model in the distribter there the wire connect. When you have the cap off check the cap rotor, and see if shaft is loose.THE gear could be worn or broke you did check to make sure it is turning.

2001 Sonoma V6 jerking while accelerating

If this has the flat style cap replace it and rotor they are known for cross shorting . Be careful the cap screws down in to plastic base on distributor most come with new screws with thread lock so over tightening is not needed.

Need the order in which the spark plug wires go onto the distributor cap for a 2003 gmc sonoma 6 cylinder or a diagram

the Distributor cap should be numbered. from when i last did mine i do believe that when i was facing the truck the drivers side of the cap went 5,3,1 and the passenger side went 2,4,6 and this is going from the back of the cap to the front. if all else fails you can just plug them in and you will notice the truck either running ruff or stalling/not starting. if so just swap the wires around till it works. hope this helps!

WHAT IS THE spark plug firing order on a 1996 GMC sonoma pickup truck

For an Inline 4 like I'm assuming, 1-3-4-2. If you have a V6, I believe it is the "Kindergarten Pattern", 1-2-3-4-5-6.

How much does it cost to change the spark plugs and wires

It depends on how much the shop charges by the hour. The In-line4 cylinder is .8 and the V6 is 1.3 hour.
If the shop rate is $80.00 and hour the V6 calls for 1.3 hours it would cost $104.00 labor. The price of spark plugs can vary a lot depending on brand and type but the avrage price would be about $12.00 each.

I need the firing sequence on the 1994 GMC Sonoma from spark plugs to the distributor cap. My brother got the wires mixed up...he doesn't know where the wires go.

Here is the firing order diagrams for the 4.3 liter V-6 engine and the 2.2 liter 4 cylinder engine, and let me know if you need any help to understand these diagrams, or if you require any further assistance.

4.3 Liter V-6 Engine.

2.2 Liter 4 cylinder engine.

1997 gmc sonoma number 2 cylinder misfire. i need to know....

The number 2 cylinder on the 4.3 V6 is the passenger side front of the engine (radiator). On the 2.2 liter L6 engine it's the 2nd cylinder from the radiator.  Hope this helps. Best way to get the the spark plug on the 4.3 V6 is through the wheel well, just flip up the splash guard out of the way. Good luck. And the #2 wire in the cap is the first one(towards the radiator) on the passenger side

Spark plug gap on a 1992 Gmc Sonoma 4.3L V6 FI

Usually somewhere on the engine or in the engine compartment, there is a sticker with the engine specifications. The spark plug gap should be included. If not .032 or an inch should be close.
Good luck
