Question about 2006 Honda CR-V
In order to release the steering lock, you will need to put in the ignition key, rotate the steering so as to loosen the strain in the lock. For instance if the lock would not let you rotate the steering counter clock wise, you will need to first force the steering clockwise a little bit, and then try to start the car. Then the lock would release. If it still doesn't, you will have to contact local mechanic.
