Question about 1995 Isuzu Rodeo

95 Rodeo Ignition Barrel tailpiece

Cananyone help me to find the ignition barrel tailpiece for this car? Please don't say salvage yards, they are few and far between here.
If I had the tailpiece I could put my steering column back together and get the car back on the road. As it sits now it is a big anchor. Thanks

Ignition switch

hi. its very unlikely that you will ever remove the broken key from the barrel. your best bet is to replace the barrel complete with key. from a breakers yard.

I have an Isuzu Rodeo and the key is stuck in the ignition any idea how to get it out? Year 2000

replace the whole ignition barrel with new key and get key programmed by dealer
can remove barrel and key by removing steering column covers turn ignition to on position and with small shank screw driver push in hole in outer top rear section of barrel assembly then pull out ignition lock barrel with key in it. fit new lock barrel and key, program new key into system and can get door lock barrels coded to suit new key or get code for old key and cut new key so it fits mechanical locks on the rest of the vehicle (just wont turn in ignition) 2 keys for vehicle.

How to install key ignition

their is a small button to press in on the side of the switch which holds it in the barrel. Press it in with a small screw driver but the button will only press in when the key is in the ignition. Just hold it in while pulling out the old switch from the barrel same procedure to replace.
