It means you could have a trickle coolant leak into a cylinder or cylinders somewhere if its white smoke. When the vehicle sits the accumulated coolant has to be burnt off when started and it smokes. During driving the leak at the moment is probably not big enough to be noticeable when its being burnt off by the engine. If its initially blueish\grayish smoke, then your rings are wearing

Hours to replace toyota camry time belt

What engine?

the 2.4 has a timing chain and the chain should not need to be serviced under normal driving conditions.

The V-6 has a timing belt. Book time is roughly 3 hours. Add another 1/2 hour if you want to replace the water pump at the same time.

2002 toyota 4 cyl camry, 112000 miles on odo, emits blue smoke only on start up, uses no oil. Fix?

I would not bother. Usually this is valve guides/seals wearing out, but if that is the only problem, I would not worry about it. When it sits, the oil in the rocker arm area is leaking down into the cylinders, then when you start it, it burns off.
I would not do anything until you start using a fair bit of oil, or something breaks.

Black smoke from exhaust pipe during start up

The black smoke is not a problem, it just means that there is a rich gas mixture in the motor to start the car from cold.

This is normal with a cold engine...

Sometimes there is a seeping of oil from old rocker cover gaskets.

If the oil is not running out in a trickle. Don't worry about it...

Wipe the oil away with a rag and see if it comes back soon.

Check the oil level on the dipstick regularly and you should not have any trouble...

SMOKE PROBLEM

Do me a favor, check you radiator fluid level. Tell me if it is low. If it is.....I hate to say it, but you may have a blown head gasket or a cracked head. You are getting coolant into the combustion chambers.....
