It sounds like you have an electrical problem, possibly a loose ground connection. Start at the multifunction switch first. Tell me the make model of the vehicle and I may be able to find the wiring diagram for it

Sounds like it could be a short in the steering colum if you have a meter you can with the engine off go to each light and see if it has a hot wire that is grounding when you put the car in to gear and go from there some chiltons manuals have wireing diagrams check it out at the library first before buying one they run around twenty bucks or so

My 1994 pontaic grand am all of a sudden my dash lights dont turn on or hazzards or tail lights but blinkers and break lights work just fine any ideas?

Do the headlights still work? Double check all the fuses. The actual headlight switch could be bad. It's common for the multifunction switches to go bad.

1985 chevy camaro 3.4. indicators not working properly, have replaced blinker but not that. if i use the hazzard blinker they work fine but if i use the correct blinker one side works but the other comes...

check all of the bulbs on that side 1 of them my not be working(it may light up but not flash because some of those bulbs are combo bulbs)meaning that some turn signals are used by part of your tail lights or break lights.

I have a 1991 mazda 323 and the right front and rear blinker does not work however the leaft blinker does

When you turn on the right blinker does the indicator light come on? It could be a faulty turn signal switch. The turn signals are routed through the hazzard switch, sometimes you can switch on and off the hazzard switch several times and the turn signals could start working again...Hey it's worth a try..

No break lights, blinkers or hazzards. I changed the fuses. That wasn't it. Still No breaks, blinkers or hazards. Where is the relay?

I would check the turn signal/ hazard flasher module, its on the brake pedal bracket, 5 wires, turn the hazards on and give the side of it a few raps with a screwdriver and see if it starts flashing. The PINK should have 12v. If that checks out good it may need the turn signal switch. At the turn signal switch there is a WHITE wire that should have 12v when the brake is depressed, then you should have 12 on the DARK GREEN and the YELLOW wires coming out. If the center high mounted light works, then the brake switch at the pedal is good.

Right read blinker/break light dont work, turn signal blinks rapidly

It's the bulb. There are two filliments in the bulb. One is for when you turn your lights on and the other is for breaking and blinker flashing. When the break filliment goes bad it causes the blinker to flash very rapidly. 100% the bulb. Change it and all will be good again. P.S. if it were a fuse none of the break lights or blinkers would work.
