Look for vacuum hose going to ac temperature mode switch, could be the ac + heater mode switch bad.vacuum goes into the mode switch.

Maybe it's not a HOSE it may be one of the Diaphram actuators have a leaky diaphram.
That may be harder to find then one that has completely failed.
If you were loosing vacuum the engine would run poorly - right.
I'm thinking may be a slow leak in the diaphram in one of the vacuum actuators / vacuum motors.

It turning over but not running

There are really only three basic things any engine needs to work correctly. Chances are yours is not getting one of these.

  1. Fuel
    • Check to make sure there is gas in the tank. Don't trust the gas gauge. When in doubt fill it up with some fresh gas. Gas that has been left sitting is no good.
    • Ensure that the fuel filter isn't clogged, the fuel pump is working and that any of the fuel lines aren't damaged. You basically want to make sure that fuel is there and reaching the engine.
  2. Air
    • Make sure there is nothing restricting the flow of air into the engine.
  3. Spark
    • Use a spark plug tester or hook up a timing light to each spark plug and crank the engine over. Make sure each one is working.
If it passes these basic tests, then it is likely that a more serious issue exists and you may need a rebuild.

What makes my Mercury grand marquis run hotter when I turn the air conditioning on? It does not run all the way to the H but it gets up there. How can I make it hold its temperature between the H & C

when the ac is running it puts a bigger strain on the engine & runs at a slightly higher rev, basically the ac runs off another belt that has no tension when ac is off, but when on requires more power, more power more heat, it may help to have the thermostat checked, some engines have a different rated thermostat for non ac models, maybe yours has wrong one.

How do you find a fuse box for a 2007 mercury milan

under dash to the left of the brake pedal, there is another fuse block in the engine compartment, but ur problem is most likely the blower speed control (located by the blower motor), possibly blower motor or the blend door acuator which blends the warm and cold air it is usualy deep in the dash in the air box. check prices on parts and shoot acordingly some parts are pricy( no need to spend $200
bucks when its a fuse) best of luck!

Need to find heater core and hoses on 1992 acura vigor gs

On a Honda built vehicle, the suspect item is usually the heat valve. Look for two hoses about 1" in diameter going toward the passenger compartment from the engine. One of them will have a valve inline usually. Another possible problem is a bad water pump, however, that will also cause a car to run hotter than usual as well.
