Question about 1996 Saturn SL
I have a 1996 Saturn SL, after the car warms up the RPM increases and decreases about 1/8 of an RPM. This causes the car to heat up after a time. I’m not sure if this is a major problem or if it’s the sign of an upcoming problem.
The “services engine soon” light has also been on for a wile. It shuts of some time them while I’m driving it the car will slow down or buck and the light comes back on. I have checked the oil and its fine; I’m not really sure what could be causing it.
That sounds like the start of a transmission problem. Get the code pulled from an auto parts store, they will do it for free. Then check the code.
