Go to the library and get a book on your car, and look in index under fuses and that section will tell you what fuse is what
or you can buy a book and look up the same

SOURCE: 1999 Oldsmobile Alero lighter fuse location

there's one under the hood and one right next to the left of where your left foot would be in the driver seat as for the diagram i would suggest going to an auto store and asking for a print out they'll give you a free one if you buy the part from them. the lighter should be in the fuse box under the hood

Your owners manual will tell you which fuse and its location on the fuse box panel, which is located behind the pull down tray, to the left of your steering column.

Look for the fuse box under the hood #23 I believe. Should be yellow 20 amp. If it's not the fuse, it's the lighter itself.

If you have the owners manual it will show you the location of the fuse. If you don't have the manual you might be able to view it online from the Nissan website.

I have a 2001 mitsibushi magna and cant get the cigarette lighter to work,

Hi, either the lighter is bad, or you have blown the fuse on it. Locate the fuse panel, and change the fuse. If you have the owners manual, it will tell you where it is located. Normally, under the dash left side of driver.

Both of my cigarette lighters do not work for my 2005 GMC savanna and I can not find the fuse, there is a fuse box under drivers seat but nothing saying cigarette lighters, need to use both

if your owners manual does not tell you where the fuse is, take a multi meter, and use the Ohms setting. you can check each fuse, using the little exposed tabs on the back of the fuse. You will find your bad fuse( I do this all the time for people that loose the owners manual) easiest way to find the fuse, that I have found. If you need more help, let me know. hope this helps

No power in my cigarette lighter in my 2008 camry

Probably a fuse. Check owner's manual for location fo fuse box. Might be 2 fuse boxes. If you don;t have the owners manual, a stop at the Toyota service dept. should be able to answer your question on where the fuse is.Good Luck
