Question about 1994 Volkswagen Jetta
It sounds as if some moisture is inside the sparkplug boots that fit onto spark plugs.Remove them and dry out or use a water dispersant spray like wd40 on these and along the leads to distributor cap. This distributor cap may need to be removed also to check for moisture if it still runs foul.Once all dry the engine may take a few minutes for the plugs to clean up and run smooth again.I hope this helps you,if not get back to me with your findings.
