Question about 2005 Chevrolet TrailBlazer
The Intake Air Temperature Sensor (IAT) is located in the intake duct near the air cleaner assembly on the right side of the engine compartment. To replace it, you would simply disconnect the electrical connector and pull the sensor out of the rubber duct. The new one simply pushes in. Before going out and buying a new one, make sure that the sensor is plugged in if you are getting a code for it. These get accidentally left unplugged all the time when people remove the duct to perform air cleaner service. Also make sure the wires are not damaged. IAT Sensor failures are rare.
