1993 Honda accord..Took off back door panel to replace regulator on door because window would not roll up. When taking off and hooking back up. The door will no longer open from inside using the handle on inside. Looks like long grey rod that connects to handle the clip is broke to attach to door at other end. Any idea what this clip is and how to order it or find one

Since it is a 93 I would check in the junk yard, if you can't find one then one the parts stores can order it, eBay may offer it,also. Good Luck Tim

The driver's side window on my 1993 Honda Accord will not roll up. I can hear the motor when I press it down but when I press it up there's nothing. Can you please help me

Your window regulator is probably worn and the wire attached to the motor has probably been stripped and cut, not allowing it to pull the window up and longer. You will need to remove the inside door panel to inspect the window regulator and make sure it's indeed gone bad. Also, be sure to check your window lift switch too. It might be bad also.

New power window regulator installed, now window goes up to top then comes back down half way and stops. How to adjust?

It is important to learn how to fix a Honda Accord window if you have an older Honda Accord. Although the Honda Accord is renowned for being a durable vehicle, the electric window motor regulators in older models can wear out over time. This is noticeable when you hear sounds coming from the window when you attempt to use it but the window won't move. But don't worry, you can use these steps to fix a broken window in your Honda Accord.

To fix a Honda Accord window, you will need:
  • A Phillips screwdriver
  • A flathead screwdriver
  • A wrench set
  • A black marker
  • Masking tape
  • A new Honda Accord electric window regulator
  1. Remove the screws securing the door panel from the inside of the vehicle. These screws are beneath the arm rest. Release the door panel by prying it away from the front of the door. Work your way back by prying off the top and sides of the panel and the back of the panel.
  2. Remove the clips holding the door panel using a flathead screwdriver to pinch them together. Remove the panel by sliding it upward and away from the door.
  3. Remove the two bolts securing the window to the regulator. Note the position where the bolts secure the windows. When you re-install the window you will need to adjust them similarly. Making a small mark on the window with a black marker is a good way to easily keep track of the correct position.
  4. Lift the window directly up and remove it from the car door. Secure it using masking tape if you prefer not to remove it completely.
  5. Remove the bolts securing the window motor and guide. Remove the window motor and guide and set them aside.
  6. Remove the regulator from the power window motor assembly. Dispose of the old regulator and install the new unit.
  7. Re-attach the window motor and guide to the door by following the removal instructions in reverse. Test the new window regulator by turning on your ignition switch and moving the window up with the electric switch.
take it back apart somethings not tight

Driver side window won't roll up, how do I fix it?

regulator,(you can take the door panel off and manual raise the window also, if you pull the window up with pliers while someone pushes the switch it may raise and you will not have to take the panel off) until you install a new regulator. hope this helped Tim

1993 passenger back window will not go up or down,

if all other windows are working i would check for power to the one motor that is not working. also check the switch for the one window that is not working. if the switch is bad , it will stop the master switch from working.

CHECK FOR CORRODED WIRES AND SEE IF POWER GOING TO WINDOW REGULATORS, YOU ARE GOING TO NEED TO TAKE OFF THE DOOR TRIM TO SEE THEM, OTHER THAN THAT IT WILL BE ABOUT REPLACING THE REGULATORS.

The right rear electric window won't roll up all

the window regulator is going bad,it has a up cable and a down cable so I would replace it before it wont go up at all, they are pretty inexpensive around $70.00 at a decent parts house, its a pretty simple job, remove the door panel, locate window to regulator bolts.remove them, take glass out thru top, locate 3 bolts that hold motor assy. remove them take bolts holding regulator in place remove them, take motor and regulator out thru holes in door.you can do it! have a good day DB

Rear Passenger window won't roll up

No the only way to fix these wire regulators is replace them, they are fairly cheap, think about it, you pull the door panel, remove the regulator try to fix it and put it back, right away it fouls up, you have worked hard for nothing, replace it.

if so here are some instructions.
  1. If applicable, remove the regulator handle by pulling the clip out with a wire hook.
  2. Remove the inside door handle and disconnect the latch rod.
  3. Remove the screws and detach the clips attaching the door panel (see trim pad remover.
  4. Disconnect the power window and courtesy light harnesses.
  5. Remove the door panel bracket and carefully remove the plastic cover
  6. Remove the screw attaching the door lock crank. Disconnect the latch rod from the latch side.
