What size allen wrench for front brake calipers on a 2007 Chrysler 300?

Well, since no one is forthcoming with this information, I found out today that the allen wrench on the caliper pins is apparently 7 mm, a size not usually offered on most sets. If you have information to the contrary, let me know. I had the guy at the parts store pull a hardware kit and that was the size. Hope this helps someone. What size allen wrench do I need to remove the front brake calipers

I'm not sure of the size. I have an allen socket made for GM brake calipers!! But i would guess it is a metric size, maybe a 12 mm. Call an auto parts store and they can pull the tool and tell you with a phone call. Good luck.

What size Allen wrench for 2001 escape front caliper?

i just changed my front rotors and pads on my 2001 escape, 6 cylinder. everyone was wrong on the wrench sizes, including the idiots at my local ford dealer. to get the brake calipers off I needed a 7mm hex bit. to get the caliper bracket off I needed an 18mm socket, it was a very easy job but check your wrench sizes first, it seems that every year and model uses different sizes.

What size is the allen wrench for taking off the caliper on the rear brakes on a BMW 318i. I have tried both metric and standard.

Hi, even though they appear to be allen heads on the calipers, and they will fit but are a little loose or not at all, they are torx Heads. They look like almost like a star with more points on them. They come in sizes like t-20, t-25, up to t-50. To get the correct size for your caliper, call the dealer parts, and ask. You may have to purchase the right one from them. I saw this happen many times on other autos and trucks, using the allen wrench and rounding out the head. I wish you the best and please be kind when rating me if I have been of help to you.
Sincerely,

What size allen wrench for 2001 pontiac sunfire caliper

You need a 3/8" allen wrench, it would be best if you had a socket allen wrench which would work quicker with a wratchet. If you ever have to do a wheel bearing you also need a T55 Torx socket. Hope this helps!!!
