put your meter on the normally open & closed

make sure you don't have an air leak at the springs or the compressor. but you may want to have the air suspension module checked for fault codes. the module itself may be the issue not processing the inputs correctly and mis-leveling the vehicle.

2000 lincon navigator 4x4 air cond comprsor wont run, no likes , presure ok. hope somebody can help


If the pressure is good then you may have a bad compressor or blown fuse, you will need to test for power at the wire at compressor, if theres power then the compressor clutch is bad and you will need to replace the compressor as its not wise to just replace the clutch as it costs almost as much as a compressor

I have a 2000 lincoln navigator,the compressor is continously kicking on also its real loud when it does kick on,possibly the rubber gromets to keep the compressor from vibrating dry rotted causing loud...


check the mounts and also have the pressure checked with some ac gauges. if a system is over charged the compressor will cycle on and off constantly and can cause a knocking sound.
