Even better... I'd found root cause.. problem is There is a sharp edge AT engine Head corner, this cause a short circuit AT main cables harness by damaging insulation and creating a ground On this area, ,,I'd put some insulation tape at damaged cable and put small square piece cutted a scsrap milk plastic bottleto prevent new damage...problem was solved forever.

Why wont stratus start

seems like if it was getting fuel it would start. if it starts with fluid it should stay running if its getting fuel. also there are two different cam gears that come on these engines. if the wrong one is installed it wont start unless you unplug the cam sensor. make sure you have the right gear. if it dosnt look the same as the old one, its wrong. also check your engine vacum while cranking. if the vacum is low its a sign the timing chain is off the marks. your plugs would all be wet with fuel if it wont fire, check for this if above checks out

2000 dodge neon cranks but wont start. If i unplug the cam sensor it will run for a second ( with it plugged in there is no spark coming from the coil)

You just proved that the cam belt has skipped time. That is the procendure to check. Remove the covers and line up the marks and you'll see your problem. while you have the belt off put on a new one as it should'nt skip unless it's worn out.

Dodge stratus will crank but wont start

It could several reasons why it will not start one could be bad or no fuel pressure do you hear the fuel pump running when you turn the key to the on position? (2) could be a bad crank position sensor(3) could be a bad cam position sensor(4)could be a bad coil (no spark)(5)could be a bad throttle position sensor. As you can see its not a cut and dry problem but if you can have some one run a diagnostic on the car autozone will do it for free I no it wont start but you may have to have it towed or have some one run those checks mentioned above.

Vehicle Stalls

you should have engine light on and engine codes
if its the cam or crank sensors, shouldn't be the starter i would start with the ingition switch.

Vehicle stalls sometimes

could be either the cam sensor or crank sensor , but I would check the crank sensor first , this sensor will not cause a check engine light either
