Drain oil remove appx, 20 bolts from arround pan remove and replace gasket, Make sure you get all of the old gasket off. And use a high tempiture silicone when replacing gasket onto pan place hew gasket onto silicone let set appx 15 min Also place some of your silicone onto your engine block where the pan fit's up to. When tighting bolts do not over tight, this will damage your pans smoothness. Good luck.

05 malibu leaking oil from rear of engine

This may be from excessive pressure in the sump from blow-by from the compression process . It is from a blocked PCV valve that is not equalising that pressure. I have also known oil leaks to happen because the rear main bearing cap is leaking oil past the join around the bolts (loose) or no sealing compound used in assembling the rear main bearing.. I would look at the PCV valve as it is the cheapest test first.. Check that the oil is not coming from the front gear box seal or torque converter seal.

Oil leak between oil pan and transmission.

Try running some of that high-mileage engine oil next time you do an oil change (it helps to swell engine seals slightly). If the problem clears up or is reduced, then it's likely that the rear main oil seal is starting to leak a little. The rubber seals will harden up and shrink a little with age.
I would also powerwash the entire area clean, so that way any leak will be easier to monitor and pinpoint.

I have a 1993 Toyota Paseo, which I have been told is almost mechanically identical to the 1993 Tercel. I think I there is a leak in the seal of the oil pan. Please give me instructions for replacing the...

Are you sure have a leak,? you saw it? they usually don't leak only from the valve cover gasket.
If you see oil drip by the passenger side of the oil pan the leak could be the crankshaft seal.
if the oil is in the center of the engine rear main seal is the problem.
If al around the oil pan is wet with oil but the oil do not make it to the floor, then the person who is doing the oil changes is not cleaning properly.
