Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Security light stays on car wont start

set in car and turn on the ignition switch but do not start it. the security light will be on and wait from 10 to 15 minutes and the light will start blinking and after the 10 minutes or so it will go solid. when it does this turn off the key and then start car.

if car shuts off while driving down the road. then restarts after 10 minutes, a bad crank sensor will do this.

2002 impala intermitenly wont start

I would clean the battery connecters or possibly change them. How old is the battery? sometimes when battery get old, they have enough juice to crank the motor but not enough to start it..But then again, if it doesn't crank at all sometimes, it could certainly be a bad or loose battery terminals..Start with this since its the simplest and easiest and could very well be your problem. hope this helps
