SOURCE: 2004 pacifica impact sensors, airbags

you may not always have to replace sensors, but you will have to change the airbag module (usually under front seat, sometimes in middle of dash) To remove the passenger airbag you have to take out the dash.

SOURCE: I have a service tire system soon alert on my 2004

This is likely a mileage triggered warning. If you have good tires already, a rented scanner will allow you to reset the mileage goal and clear the message. Alternatively, go back to where you bought the tires and see if they will erase the warning.

SOURCE: estimate for new battery tire rod repair and 4 new

The tie rods are part of the steering system not connected to the battery. If you have an estimate from a shop it should show a battery on a different line than a tie rod or tie rod end. Tires vary greatly in price depending on size, use and brand. Many tire dealer websites hae do-it-yourself tire pricing allowing you to choose different options.

SOURCE: where is the airbag sensor on a chrysler pacifica

The sensor could be on for many reasons. There are three sensors on the cars front. Front center and the two side frame rails near the tires. Also the seats have sensors that will notify the air bag module if someone is sitting in that particular seat. Any one of these items can be at fault

2004 chrysler pacifica service tire system light is on. Replaced tires all around and aligned.

Make sure that your tire pressure sensors were not damaged. one simple way to check what tire sensor is causing the problem is to lower each tire individually and check to see if the message displays to a different tire or more than 1, depending on the TPM system your pacifica has. Chrysler has a TPM (tire pressure monitor) tester which can check each individual sensor for correct operation. and the sensor's batteries have typically a 5-7 year life span.

Check air pressure in all tires sometimes 2 pounds of pressure difference will set it off and sometimes it takes 8 pounds. If a sensor goes out and you know which one it is pick up a new sensor at Advanced auto for 42 dollars and put it together with the one screw and go to Walmart and they will install it for 10 dollars. The sensors have batteries in them and they only last so long if it has been over five years and one goes out replace them all. The car will learn the new sensors in a few miles so just drive until the light goes out12_2_2011_4_02_28_pm.gif
