95 Buick Regal will not crank when engine warm wait 20 or so minutes and it will crank what causes this issue.?

Define crank ? Does the engine spin when you turn the key to the start position ? This is referred to as engine cranks . now yours won't start an run ! This is a cranks no start condition ! When it won't start an run check for spark at a coil , your vehicle has three if a V-6 . Pull both plug wires off same coil an crank engine , is there spark ? Yes - No . No spark , ignition module could be bad , crankshaft position sensor , Your best bet would be to take your vehicle to a qualified repair shop .

Where is the 5th coil pack located on a 2005 buick rendezvous?

Hi patricia, If you have a faulty coil and your car's running rough to find the faulty coil just pull a spark plug lead off and start your car, If it runs (ROUGHER) than before then that coil is ok. Turn the car off and replace that spark plug lead back on to the spark plug. Repeat with the next spark plug lead and so on until you start your car and it runs the same as if THAT spark plug lead is on or off, NOW TO MAKE SURE THIS IS THE FAULTY COIL, Put a spark plug into the spark plug lead that's off and earth it to the motor or body (it has to be touching steel), Start the motor and if that's the faulty coil the spark plug won't spark I hope this helps.....

check whether your vehicle is equipped with any immobilizer -anti theft system- as these systems are the one which could cause these unexpected situations.

Turn signals not working. If the hazards work but not the blinkers does that mean the flasher is ok?

Usually and unfortunately yes. I say unfortunate because the turn signal switch is the more expensive of teh two. Make sure you check the fuse and that is good as well as check for shorts if you have a hitching wiring harness spliced in.

Ignition control module

t make sure that it the module you need to see if you have any spark or not what you can do is pull a spark plug out plug the spark plug wire to it put it in a place where you can see it or have some one assist you turn the car over like trying to start it if you see a good spark from the plug then its usually another problem if the spark is weak then yes id try a module . if all of this is ok then id try a cam posistion sensor. one of these should solve your problem.

Engine won't start ;got gas & cranks good; no

This may be caused by no crankshaft position reference .If you have a scan tool watch to see if you have a crank signal...if yes Its possibly due to a faulty Ignition module this controls injector firing and spark firing...Note the crankshaft position sensor is a hall effect sensor and can be checked with a voltmeter on the lowest setting on ac also they were common for hitting the reluctor wheel on the backside of the crankshaft vibration dampener causing the circut to go open..also allignment is critical on the sensor and the sensors usually end up being siezed when adjusment is required....hope this helps and good luck

The odometer in my 2000 Buick Century is not lighting up. What can be done? The Buick dealer says I have to have the entire cluster replaced. Only the odometer/shift cluster is not lighted. The rest of the...

Yes the dealer is right. there are several places that rebuild these for less than a new one. The dealer should be able to send it out or get a rebuilt cluster. If the dealer doenst want to help you, find a good repair shop, they usually have a place they get clusters from.

Car ran good

Any fuses located under the hood are usually located fairly close to the battery, in a rectangular black plastic box. Hope that this helps, remember to rate all solutions that you get from FixYa. Good luck.
