I don't have your make and model so I can only give a general answer.

  • Turn the engine off and open the hood. Pry up the two fasteners from the radiator air baffle with a flathead screwdriver. Move the baffle to the side to access the top of the headlight case.

  • 2

Pull up the two metal rods behind the headlight case. These secure the case to the vehicle. You may need your pliers to pull them up.

  • 3

Gently pull the headlight case out to access its rear. On the rear, you will find several black dust covers. Twist off the dust cover closest to the fender (the outward dust cover) to access the turn signal bulb.

  • 4

Turn the bulb module counterclockwise to release it. Unplug the electrical connector from the bulb module. Connect the new bulb to the electrical connector (don't touch the glass with your hands; hold it by the plastic piece). Insert the bulb module in the turn signal housing, turn it clockwise and screw the dust cover back on.

Insert the headlight case in the mount. Push the pins back down to secure it. Position the radiator baffle in its place and insert the fasteners.

  • as far as back up lights,

  • Go in the trunk and pull back the side pannel of the trunk and turn the bulb until it comes out and change it and turn the new bulb back in place.

On my 1999 cadillac Eldorado my brake lights only come on n back window all the fuses n blub r good

Power goes from the brake switch thru the turn signal switch. So if the high mount brake light works but the others don't, the problem is usually in the turn signal switch.

I have 89 bronco 2 my brake lights turn signals both work my tail lights don't work have check fuse n blubs what might be the problem

The turn signals and brake lights use the same circuit and filament in the bulbs. The tail lights are on the other circuit which comes from the headlight switch.
Do you have power on the tail light fuse ?

No brake lights, blubs and fuses ok. center brake light DOES work

Usually when the third brake light works but the regular lights don't the problem is in the turn signal switch.
I would check for voltage there.

Rear light install for 1997 jeep grand cherokee

Just changing the bulb or didya crash out the whole light and need to change the whole thing? Both are easy with the tailgate open there's two screws that screw into the light, with them out the light pulls out to the side some then straight back ( it pops out with the screws removed. once the light is away from the body the bulb scocktes can be removed by depressing the tab on the side of the scocket and turning the socket to the left. The bulb just pulls stright out and the new one is a 3157 a 3057 will work the back up light and the yellow turn signal are 3156 put in the ones you need turn em on and test that they work, There's a plug in the harness that can be disconnected and reconnected that may cause the light not to work as for changing the whole light just take out all the blub bases and the light is in your hand. A new light will come with the blub bases and bulbs all you need to do is plug in the harness and pop the light in pust it forward till the screw holes line up and install the screws and your done.

    Fuse for turn signal

I ACTUALLY HAD MY FRIEND TAKE A LOOK AT THE PLASTIC PART WHERE THE FRONT TURN SIGNAL LIGHT CONNECTS... HE ADVISED ME THAT THERE IS A BAD CONNECT AND THAT ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS CLEAN THE METAL AROUND THE PRONGS ON THE BLACK PART OF THE ACTUAL LIGHT BULB THAT YOU PLUG IN ... YOU ALSO NEED TO PUSH THE LITTLE METAL PRONGS INSIDE OF THE WHITE SOCKET BACK UP SO THAT THEY CREATE A TIGHTER/SNUG FIT FOR THE BLUB WHEN PLUGGED BACK IN.... I HAVEN'T HAD ANY ISSUES SINCE HE FIXED THIS FOR ME ... AND MY 2 FRONT SIGNALS BEFORE THIS HADN'T WORKED FOR ALMOST A YEAR....
