Question about 1993 Isuzu Trooper

93 Trooper cranks, but won't turn over

My 1993 Isuzu Trooper, 6 Cylinder was running fine, parked it and then started it and it just shut off and won't start again. Acts like it is out of gas, but its not, spark plugs are getting spark and the battery is charged. Electronic fuel pump was replaced 3 years ago, all fuses have been checked and are good. Any ideas?

in electroncs we do more testing
it can be bad wires. bad connections or bad sensors.

93 rodeo 3.2 2wd crank but no start

What happened when it stopped running in the first place? You might want to verify the cam/crank position if you can. If you jumped a tooth or have a stretched belt, you are going to have valves open when you are supposed to be firing off on the compression stroke. A compression tester on the number one cylinder would be one way to test it, or a leak down tester.

Lost power to engine

Check make sure all plugs are firing. Sounds like what my 93 Rodeo was doing-Idled okay but very rough when in gear. Turns out only 5 out of 6 plugs were firing due to a defective ignition module- 100 bucks later it works fine.

Hope this helps.

Headlights out

You need to change the head light bulbs, they have two elements one for normal lighting and one for high beams, the low beam elements on those light bulbs are burnt, install new ones and you'll fine. Good Luck

Where is the valve located to check for fuel pressure on 93 Troop

If yours has that valve it should be on the fuel rail (looks like an a/c charge port), you don't just press to see if there is fuel. you need to put a gauge on the fitting and read actual pressure (10lbs will squirt, but can you tell the difference between 10 and 35lbs?)
