I have a 65 ford f100,the motor has been swaped out,i think its a 302,but the only block number i see is on the front of the block,pasenger side that reads 2 (over) 80

There should be a serial number stamped on the block itself in front of the one of the heads (the one that sits back further. With this serial number you should be able to contact a dealer and find out the correct engine size. Older Fords had either a 289 cubic inch, a 302 and a 351 small block which from the outside will all look the same.

Should be right on the side of the engine block, just below the spark plug holes on the right side of the motor. If the motor is still in the car, it will be hard to see. You may also need to clean the dirt and oil off if any exists.

Did you by chance mix up the shoes,adjuster etc? Short shoe (primary) will be closest to front of vehicle.(right side of backing plate.) Larger shoe to rear. Seen them put on backwards many times when changing from one side to the other. If you only took picture of drivers side, and your using that for reference, adjuster, shoes etc, will be wrong when you go to opposite side of truck. What year is this truck?

original engine could have been a 302/351/460 im pretty sure you wont have to swap transmissions

Look on drivers door should have a plate or open hood on driver side fender on lip that goes under hood when close will be stamp there.
