Sound like the idle speed too low.the idle air control valve not working.have vechicle scan first.look for idle air control valve fault code.try this test put load on idle air control valve. put vechicle in drive gear turn on on the air conditioner and turn the steering wheel to the sharp right and left, if engine stalls out idle speed control valve could be faulty.
mr. miller if you will contact me i will walk you through just what the issue is. i just went through the same thing and replaced almost everything before finding this.
[email protected] and we will go from there
save time money have vechicle code scan, a bad idle air control valve will cause vechicle stall while in motion or stand still.

Thanks for choosing FixYa and welcome to the site. I would check in on a MAP sensor. If it is bad, it will cause the car to die out. But where it doesn't start back every time, you probably have other options. Your best bet is to try and scan your computer for codes. You may have an electrical issue. Has your vehicle been overheating? If not, make sure your guages work correctly. If it is getting to hot, it can cause the car to shut off. If I was in your place, I would have it took for a diagnostic check. It could be a problem in the ignition system. Check for vacuum leaks and make sure your air filter and fuel filter are not clogged up. You could have a leaking fuel injector. Make sure all your fluids are at correct levels. You may need a tune up, if you haven't in awhile. Check your fuel pressure to see if it is correct. It is best to check out everything you can and rule each part out. If you have other questions, feel free to comment back. And again, thanks for using FixYa.
