Question about 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee
It could be related to several engine management components, it is very hard to say unless a trouble code reader is connected to the vehicle and scanned for trouble codes. This is the first this a tech would do after a visual inspection. Any reputable auto center will check for a diagnostic code for free, it is not hard to do.
