What size of motor is it? also have you tried to turn over the motor with the distributor cap off to see if the rotor spins?

When you say coil, do you mean the ignition coil or the pick up coil (aka pickup module)? It is located under the rotor in the distributor-if you replaced the distributor (did you really?) it should have had a new unit in it, the only other thing I could guess is you have some sort of issue with a fuse or relay for the ignition.

Have very poor heat in my 1992 plymouth acclaim don't know why

That can be caused by a number of things. It could be a bad engine coolant thermostat. It could be low engine coolant due to a leak. It could be a clogged-up heater core. It could be a bad water pump. It could be a blown head gasket....the problem needs to be diagnosed before anyone can tell you exactly WHY you have poor heat. (Although many may try to GUESS and tell you to just start replacing parts without any diagnosis.)

What type of engine oil would i use for a 1992 Plymouth Acclaim?

5W30 is recommended but if you have a lot of miles on the engine & the weather is hot, 10W40 would be better. Good car, had one myself! Good luck!

1991 Plymouth Acclaim stalls

One of the more common problems with the 2.5L & 2.2L engines that suffered the symptoms your describing, such as, starts & runs good, then at any given time would just quit, not start, but after sitting a while, or by the time the mechanic gets to it, it starts right up, or you sit on the side of the road for 20 min. or half hour then away it goes for a while longer, then quits again down the road. There is a pick-up plate under the distributor cap & rotor, with the wiring plug coming from it. 90% of the time, it's defective, and cuts out especially, but not limited to, more often when weather is hot.
