I use a straightend out wire hanger and do mine from under the car. long enough and easy to bend/shape to fit into the outlet.

You have a plugged AC condensation drain, the best thing to do is remove the blower motor and clean out the leaves and other materials that i know are in there blocking the drain, once the motor is out the drain tube is at the bottom of the housing and exits under the car on the passenger side at bottom of engine bulkhead/firewall.

We have water leaking into the interior of the car with the air conditioner on. Seems like the condensation drain is plugged. where is this located on this car?

There is a drain from the condensation from the cooling coils and so this could be blocked or the hose had come off in postion when the mat or the floor was cleaned.
please check this out , clean the hose or connect the hose back to the outlet point under the dash board collection tray.

I have a 1997 VW Jetta VR6 the condensation from the air conditioner collects and then drains into the floor boards. Where is the drain plug located for the air conditioner condensation reservoir?

There is a drain, usually on the firewall, which allows that condensation do drop on the ground. Usually easy to get at if the car is up on a hoist. These get plugged with debris all of the time. Most garages will clean it out for a very nominal charge, or you can try to find it yourself, and insert a very short piece of wire in the tube( you don't ant to puncture the evaporater, or heater core) and clear the debris. Good luck!

That sounds like the AC condensation drain tube/hose is plugged up.

The AC evaporator/core condensation drain tube is located on the passenger side of the fire-wall towards the bottom of the fire-wall, (it resembles a heater hose that is coming off from the fire-wall and it connects to nothing, and it is just to drain the AC condensation) and it is easily viewed from under the vehicle. Use long pipe cleaners folded in half to clean out the AC drain, and be very careful that the AC evaporator/core, or the heater core is not damaged from using any hard or sharp objects to clean out the AC drain.

Pull the blower fan motor out from under the dash on the passenger side, wash the box out with a water hose, then attach a piece of rubber hose over nipple that comes out of drain about 1" longer. Your condensate water is draining back inside truck through nipple to carpet padding

AC condensation leaking into passenger side floor area on 95 Jeep

here is what i find in the condensation drains of the AC systme, leaf matter is the numero uno, if the blower wasn't pulled and the leaf debris cleaned out then the problem will continue until it is cleaned. there is nothing to add, water is a by product of the air cooling process, the colder the air the less water it can hold suspended, so when you cool it it condenses out, that is why all ac systems have a water drain.

Bet the drain is clogged with leaves. Look under the blower motor under the hood. Can almost be that the cowling has been filled with leaves at one time or another. Got to clean that stuff out every now and then.
