SOURCE: 2002 buick rendezvous

leppaluck
couple things to look at
dead cell in battery
battery positive negative cables loosened up or bad wires
ignition coil
if you have one of the security keys with microchip
the security feature could be worn out which means replace key cylinder and they will give you new key along with it
ignition relay bad had this happen to me when vehicle was cold the moisture built up in relay and froze the relay component connections i still had to manual start vehicle with manual starter

tahoeman
ok my words might need little reconstruction
but you have a bad efi for the spark plug control
sometimes my mind works sometimes its stops dead in tracks
the efi= where the spark plug cables connect to the box all attached
bad coil relay

SOURCE: 2002 Buick Rendezvous alternator removal

To get the alternator out, I had to move that large electical fuse / relay box out of the way,and remove washer bottle and battery. then use a 3/8" drive ratchet to move the tensioner forward to get the belt off. I used a small mirrow to get a view of the back bolts on the alternator and removed them.[ I used meteric # 15 open end & closed end combo wench. Keep turning the back bolts until the alternator become loose.]

You would not have to remove the belt to work on the brakes.
But yes the belt would be removed to replace the pump.

My Buick Rendezvous is straight up dead. When we change the battery the light turns on then dies after 20 minutes. When we try to jump it, it wines then immediately shuts down.

I want to find out what gas to use to get the best mileage in a 02 buick rendevous

Use whatever is recommended for the car - it'll be printed next to your gas gauge, on a label inside the gas filler door, or in the owner's manual. The recommended fuel from the manufacturer is the fuel they ran when they calibrated the car's sensors, computer, and fueling system, so you'll do best with their recommended fuel.
