I think the fault is with the radiator temp censer , it acts as a on off switch, located on the radiator tank.

Why does my fan keep running in my 2003 Volvo S 60 after the car is off?

It can be faulty fan relay. The relay is not turning the system off.Or its wire short issue.Even with ignition off ,the fan relay is getting power so its not letting the fan to turn off.Bypass the fan control relay and see if still the fan works with ignition off or not.

Is there a relay swith for the fan in a 1998 ml320?

The relays are located in the fuse box which is ob the left hand side in the engine compartment. The relays are a standard item at any auto store so no need to get them from the stealer. The actual relay and fuse are dictated by which fan they belong to ie the ac fans or the cabin heater fan.Usually the relay is not the problem but the fuse or the contacts of the relay or fuse.So before spending any money you canin some case fix it jus t by inserting or removing. The will clean the contacts and away it goes. If the relay is gone then they are about $12 but you should replace the fuse at the same time even if good as it will probably have been stressed and may pop at a lower than rated value.

Where is the relay for fan speeds located and how do you replace it.

I assume you are talking about the fan for the heater and air conditioner(Its referred to as a blower motor). Its tucked up to the glove box under the dash. Trace the wires from the blower motor back to the resistor.

1998 jeep cherokee sport fan blowing only on max

More then likely it is you heater relay. it is located inside the vehicle on the passenger side under the glove box. You will have to remove the cover under the glove box and you will find it there. Should take about 30 to replace it.

Trying to access maxifuses/relay center

The fuses for the blower motor and HVAC module are in the rear fuse/relay block located under the back seat.

To remove the back seat, simply grab the front of the seat with both hands underneath and pull straight upwards, this releases the spring clips, no bolts or screws to remove.

NEED TO KNOW WHY HEATER FAN WONT TURN ON,IT IS NOT THE FAN MOTOR CAVALEIR 2001 2.2 MOTOR

If the fan motor does not run it is either a blown fuse, defective blower motor resistor pack, defective blower motor speed control switch, or the motor itself is bad. That is assuming all the wiring is connected and tight. More than likely it is a bad resistor pack which is a common problem with this vehicle.

Fan not working

If the radiator fan is not working locate and replace the fan relay, if the heater fan is not working reolace the resistor located under the dash near the glove box it may also be the switch itself.
