Question about Chevrolet Silverado 1500
The mounts on a bettery are normally made of lead. If the battery mounts are stripped but the battery is still good then you can get a slightly larger bolt and force it into the lead mount, lead is soft so the new bolt should self tap.
If the bolt is stripped then you can easily get a replacement bolt. You can push the existing bolt out of the rubber part on the battery cable and replace it.
