Driving lights should be wired separte from the headlights and power should come from the battery and be with an inline fuse and relay, if you connect to headlights you may blow the headlight fuse due to amp draw on the same fuse and may heat wiring or headlight switch and cause premuture failure, good day,

I would look for a loose connection either at the battery, the ground end of the cable where it attaches to the engine block, or the positive cable where it is attached to the power distribution block.

How do I get the low beams to run automatically whenever driving instead of flickering?

if you did it yourself and did not use factory lights or ballast then it could be a voltage detection problem. If you did use factory parts then the headlight switch may have failed by coincidence. also check connections at HL plugs and or switch. ???????????

One of the frame grounds on the headlight wiring harness is loosing connection with the body. Look for black wires attached to the body under the hook. One of them is loosing connection.

The head lights are not strong enough.

If your battery is on a full charge, but your lights are still weak, its a ground problem, check your battery

ground, make sure the connections on the battery are clean and tight. check the grounds on your lights,

check the molex connections attached to your lights, make sure there are no loose wires. if you have a

test light, check across battery , compare the weakness of your headlights to the test light, check

from battery positive to the frame. if the light is weak, you will have either a bad ground connection, or

a bad battery cable, if this is okay, test from battery positive with the headlights on at the headlight to

ground if it shows the same dimmness. its a ground problem. good luck!

I have a fault - parkling bulb failure

I believe the parking lights are the lights that come on when you move the headlight switch to the middle setting. My S60 has 3 settings for headlights, daytime running lights (off or 9 o clock position), parking light (middle or 10:30 position), and lights on (top or 12 o clock position). Put your light switch into the middle position and check the lights from the front of you car. They are usually located on the side of the headlights and are orange. If the fault is on, you have a bulb out (most likely) or loose wire connection (not as likely).

Possible electrical problems.

I would suggest that you check to see if the battery is connected properly---correct polarity!

If connected wrong, main fuse will blow. Lights come on because power is routed through the frame (ground) briefly.
Hope this helps.
