You can try running product called SeaFoam through with tank of fuel - but that's a long shot. When turbos start clogging up - it's like concrete. They get baked on and it's really tough without proper tools to remove without damaging.

It sounds like the turbo has gone out. That will make a diesel sluggish and burn oil out the turbo. replace the turbo and it should be fine

i have heard that the new turbo for these trucks was made for a cleaner fuel overseas. our fuel is dirty and clogs them which in turn would make it sluggish on takeoff. try finding a way to clean the carbon out.

Hi i recently bought an audi a3 an when driving it had a sudden loss of power in each gear having turned the ignition off then on the problem clears any ideas

My Audi A3 from 2002 has a problem with the EPC. I have been to authorised service but they could find nothing wrong. When the EPC stays on after starting the engine the authomatic accelaration - I have no control. The engine accelerates by himself and somethimes it stopps.

how many miles has it done?is it remapped? we have had the same problem and done the same repair as above and the next stage for us is to remove the turbo and strip it down and clean the veins inside the turbo as these can stick and give a loss of power, this is on a 2002 gti tdi pd with +-130000miles and its remapped.my car is gt tdi 130bhp stock 140000miles no faults

Ford-F350 7.3 turbo sluggish when you accelerate

i dont know about the turbo going bad,but i do know that ive seen 7.3 diesel have bad injectors, usually 2 at a time, check for fuel at the injector which can get messy so wear protective gear such as goggles and gloves, while running crack open the fuel line at the injector to see if there is fuel,it should run rough which is good on the working cylinders,if it doesnt change then maybe a bad injector,or not enough fuel pressure at that injector.injection pump issues are another thing, but most likely its an injector.
