Car Stuttering after service engine light goes off...
This started a few weeks ago.. Usually when I first start the car, everything is fine for about 30 seconds but the service engine soon light is on, as soon as it goes off, the engine starts stuttering like crazy and i can smell gas a bit. i have to keep the accelerator down in order to keep it running, after about 5 minutes of that the car starts to run normally.
I've already changed the oil, spark plugs and wires.. It stopped fr a while, but now its come back with a vengeance and getting worse by the day.
I'm thinking it may be the o2 or mass air flow sensor, but i really dont know for sure... I'm not exactly sure what to do, can anyone help?

Wow! The engine is running like **** with misfire codes? I think that's what you were trying to say. First, stop all the "miricle cures in a can"...fuel injector cleaners, K&N filters and the such. They will only do more harm than good. Next, replace your distributor. Honda igniters are notorious for causing the symptoms (and codes) you are describing and they are only serviced in a complete distributor assembly.
A week ago, on my Lexus ES 300 (2001), "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights came on. This coincided with me filling the gas tank to the brim to round the dollar to be paid. I cleaned the gas tank cap and the tank opening. However, both lights persisted. On the same day, when I turned on the car again, there was a hesitance, a stuttering to come on. Both "Check Engine" and "Trac Off" lights were still on.
The next day, the car wouldn't come on at all. It sounded as the battery was dead. I couldn't even jump start the car. So, I got a new battery from Costco ($59) and put it in. It took 15-20 seconds of cranking to get the car started. Once it was started, the engine sounded fine and the RPM normal. The "Check Engine" light was off. However, the "Trac Off" was still on. I cleaned the gas tank cap one more time.
The next morning, when I turned the car on, there was no problems. It came on instantly as it used to be, didn't have any warning lights, and drove smoothly.
have you replaced your O2 censor yet? or changed your air filter lately. I know our avenger is pretty picky we had a dirty air filter once and it seemed like the O2 censor went out because it kept trying to shut off when the idle was lower. a new air filter did a bit for it then we got a censor reader that you plug into the brain box of the car or the cigarette lighter and it told us the O2 was out and our car was doing the low idle thing. after we fixed it no problems.
