Question about 1992 Pontiac Grand Am

1 Answer

I have a 1992 Pontiac Grand Am. It seems to run fine but if I run it more than 30-40 minutes and shut it off for a few minutes it will not start. If I let it sit for an hour or so it fires back up as if nothing were wrong. I've changed the EGR Valve and the O2 sensor.

Pontiac grand am stalling

A lot of possible causes - have you checked for trouble codes (DTCs)? If no codes, given the age it could be in the fuel delivery system (for example, fuel pump stopping either due to an intermittent electrical problem at the ignition switch or in the wiring such as corroded connectors).
