Since the noise is coming from the flasher relay, I suggest changing the flasher switch on the column. It sounds as if this is shorting and causing the relay to click.

There are obviously many different potential sources for this noise!

It would be helpful if we could know exactly where you hear it coming from, but, alas, I will give sometips.

If it happens during acceleration, then it could be from "pinging" from bad gasoline, you could change to a higher grade (87 to 91).

A rotating part such as a pulley, water pump, etc could be making these noises from under the hood. If you hear it, try to open the hood and listen to isolate the sound!

It could be coming from the transmission. Your torque converter may be slightly tapping the housing (not likely, but have seen on another vehicle that had a tranny job done recently).

Again, if you can further narrow down the location, it would be helpful.

Are any check engine lights or ABS lights on, or any other abnormal lights on in the dash?

OK, with that info, here is some better guidance!

turn signal wiper switch assembly (it's all one assembly). The easy way to tell is to turn your turn signal on when the problem occurs, if it clicks fine when the turn signal is on, but clicks erratically when its off, you've found your problem. You can sometimes make the sound go away by fiddling with the switch. They are around hundred bucks for a new one.

    Good Luck!

PS Call the dealer, it seems there was a recall on this problem for some GM models a while back, it may help to check that out first!

It sounds like an issue with your steering or suspension. Because it gets louder and faster as you drive, it is almost certainly something that is either loose, or worn out. I have seen tires that have a bump or a blister on them to create a bumping noise, like you're driving over several speed bumps at once. I would take it to a trusted place and just have them do a front end inspection. Some places will even do this for free, hoping they'll find a problem and make their money back. I believe that Midas was doing free front end inspections. If not, lots of places will do it when you get your oil changed, etc. You may want to look under it yourself and just see if you can push or pull on anything and feel any slack or looseness.

When we are driving out 2004 dodge Stratus everything sounds good until we turn. When we turn we hear a grinding noise coming from the front of the car. What could be causing this?

More then likely its a CV joint, but most of the time it would be a clicking you'd hear. Do you hear a roaring sound when driving in a straight line? Its possible then it could be a wheel bearing and when turning the sound is more pronounced.

Get the cv joint checked. It sounds like that is the problem.I would also look at the brakes. If the sound is worst when you turn right,it may be the cv.This is on a left hand drive vehicle.I hope this helps

Intermittent clicking sound of turn signal seems to increase in warm/hot weather

Short in turnsignal switch will cause this. Next time it happens, put slight upward pressure on turnsignal lever and if sound changes you need a new turnsignal switch
