You can use wax and oil remover, which you can find at a auto paint supply store. Commonly used to prep a car before painting in order to remove any oil or contaminates. Iv even used turtlewax bug and tar remover to get adhesive off of glass. Maby even paint thinner would work. The tint itself should be easy to rip off.

Goof off is a brand of solvent that removes anything. Thjat is if you need it, typically the tint on a window is a thin film that can be peeled off with a flat razor. Please rate the solution if this clarifies what you need to do.

Thank you!

How to reset fuel pump

There should be a fuel inertia switch that you press once to reset it. On my 1987 Ford Mustang GT it was located in the Rear Hatch area by my drivers side taillight. I had to remove the plastic to access it. look there first on most of the ford cars from the 1980's the switch was always in the hatchback area or truck. Some cars had easy access to the switch others where hidden. After you reset switch turn key to the power ON key position not turned over just one turn of your key ahead you should hear the pump do this 5-6 six more times this will build pressure in the hp fuel line. Turn hear over. Hope this helps you. Here's a few pic's of the switch's for your reference's mine had the white top the red top switch's came out in 89 or 90 model year fords if I remember correctly.

How to remove tint and glue from side windows w/o ruining glass

Sharp razor blade. You can buy them from an auto shop pack of 5 - 100 i think. Takes ages but you just scrap the tint off. I have asked a tint shop 1/2 way through ding this & they advised me that was the corect method.

How do I take the front window out of a junk yard 1992 cadillac sedan de ville ( no battery) without riping the tint?

I would worry about saving the glass from breakage. The tint will get scratched no matter how its removed. By the way most states ban tinted windows on the front doors of all vehicles. That is why the rear windows from the factory are tinted with the exception of Wisconsin. They ban tinted windows period

I work at an automotive recycling yard. Our yard has 5 of these and they take about 5 minutes to change the whole hinge for about 20 dollars. Hope that helps.

Windows tint

If it's factory tint, it is imbedded in glass and can't be removed.
If it's add on tint, it is just a plastic film on inside of glass.
Call a tinting shop and ask what chemical to spray on film to soften adhesive, or ask for removal quote too

89 mustang 5.0 starter stuck on

The ignition switch isn't hard to replace. Take the column covers off and you'll have to buy tamper proof torx bits to remove the mounting screws. Just unplug the old switch and plug in the new one. The new switch will have new mounting screws with it. It should only take you 20 minutes to replace it even if you've never done it before. Check the operation of the lock and tumbler as well. It's an easy replacement as well. This one only should take you 5 minutes.
