I have a 95 nissan pathfinder and the brakes do not work at all. To the floor and no slowing down. Im not leaking fluid and I've attempted bleeding but it seems there is no movement of fluid anywhere

If the brake lines arent leaking, the wheel cylinders arent leaking, its possible its the master cylinder or the ABS assembly is bypassing internally...best to have a mechanic look at it as they have special pliers that can pinch off, and not damage, the rubber flex hoses to the calipers and rear end

I installed a new stereo on my 1995 nissan pickup and now the brakes dont work. which wire needs to hooked up to what?

Before I answer this question, what exactly do you mean that your brakes don't work. Is the brake light illuminated?, or do you not have any brakes when you push the pedal?

95 Nissan Maxima brake problem.

Im going to say, that if all the brakes lock up, it more than likely your ABS system malfunctioning. You can test this by unhooking the electrical plug to the box. Im not sure where it would be located on a Nissan, but typically for chevy's its under the car mid way drivers side. As far as cost for a mechanic, it would depend on how long it takes them to find a problem in the system. Typically your talkin $60 and hour or more.

Abs

Rex08, have you checked the bulbs? This truck is rare in that the ABS light will come on when the brake light bulbs go out.

If the lights are on all the time check the adjustment of the switch on the pedal. Don't adjust it too far in, you will have slight brake application while you are driving which is not good.
