There is something called a "kicker panel" on the inside of your car. This panel will be either to the left of your left foot near the floor and door, or it will be under the dashboard in front of your knees. The cover of the panel will have a complete diagram showing you what each fuse does and what size to use. Please rate this solution if it helps.

good luck and have a a great day!

The fuse must be in the main fuse box. The position and function of the fuses is normally marked on the inside of the fuse box cover and also in the owner's handbook. If you don't come right with these, work your way through the fuses looking for a blown one. To ease your search the wiper fuse it should be around 15 to 20 amps. The fuse box, according to model, might be at the back of the engine compartment or under the left lower side of the dashboard.

How to install a windshield wiper blade

You will need new wiper blades before you can perform a wiper blade replacement project. Get your "owner's car manual" as it will tell you everything you need to know about the wipers' size and type. The manual may also give you list of brands you can choose from for you wiper blades.

  1. Buy the correct wiper blades, make sure you have bought the entire blade and not just the rubber insert. Read the instructions properly before you begin. It will show you how to perform the wiper blade replacement.
  2. Take the wiper arms off the windshield. You will have to remove the old wiper blades very carefully so you don't hurt yourself. Wear kitchen gloves if you don't want to get your hands dirty or cut yourself.
  3. Push on the tab of the old wiper blades and pull them out. You can also use a small screwdriver to lift the tab.
  4. Take the new wiper blades and insert it in the arms very carefully. Don't push too hard, but do it gently. It will easily slide itself in. You will hear a "click" sound when the entire blade has gone inside.
  5. Wiggle or shake the new wiper blades to see they are secured properly and won't fly away when you turn them on. If all looks good, lower the wiper arms back on the windshield. And you're done!

Where is the fuse for the windshield wiper fluid 2005 sentra

Check to be sure there is washer fluid in the washer fluid reservoir. The owners manual should have a "map" that tells you location, amperage , and system(s) covered by listed fuses. Lacking an owners manual, the inside of the fuse box access panel will also have this information. Suggest you get a Chiltons/Haynes repair manual that covers your vehicle. There are other reasons for washer not to work. And newer vehicles have 2 fuse panels. With redundant systems.

2005 mercury mountaineer windshield wipers stopped working in the middle of the windshield. ..the rear windshield wiper works though

That really sounds like a fuse blew for the wipers.
Check your owners manual for fuse box location.

BACK WINDSHIELD FROZEN AND NOT WORKING

The mechanism could be broken or a fuse could have snapped when the wiper blade could not move. Get on the Web search and look up your vehicle by year and model. Then see if you can look up an Owners manual if you do not have one.

Inside the Manual there will be a Fuse Directory. It will list items by function and show the size of fuse. You can also Web search the fuse panel for the location of the correct fuse.

Sometimes parts are grouped to a single fuse to save space and fuses. Find the rear wiper in the Fuse Directory and then see if that fuse is broken.

Windshield wipers stop working

At the base of the wiper arm there is a plastic cap,pop this off ,underneath there is a nut that holds the arm in place ,if it gets loose the post will turn inside the blade.Just turn the wipers off and tighten the nuts with the blade in the parked position.

Windshield wiper don't work. Could it be a fuse??? Which one is it!!

Without the engine running, turn wipers on and listen for any motor running. If you don't hear any noise, then check in your owners manual for the location of the fuse. If you do hear a noise, but no wipers, it could be that the wiper arm has come loose under the cover that is over you wiper blades.
