Question about Kia Optima
Make sure that the wires are removed, belt is removed, and the top and bottom bolts are completely out of the holes. If all of that is done the alternator is just jammed in the recepticle. Take a large screwdriver or small/ medium prybar and place between the alternator and brackets and pull. it may be tough but it will come out. Good luck and i hope i was of some assistance.
