Pop off the large rubber cap on the back of the headlight. remove the lockring on the bulb by twisting counter clockwise. easier on driver than pass side.

SOURCE: how to replace a headlight bulb for a 2007 jetta?

look in engine bay behind the headlights, there should be a plastic cover with wires running into it, remove the cover which will expose the back of the light and the plastic square plug which is connected to the back of the halogen bulb, pull the square plastic wire block off the back of the bulb, you will see two spring type clips which hold the bulb into the back of the light, you have to press down slightly and pull towards the centre then release it and it will now be loose, do the same to the other spring and remove the bulb, replacement is reverse of the removal process
Hope this helps you

SOURCE: how to replace both headlight bulbs (lowbeam) on jetta 2006?

i would imagine that the bulbs would fit directly into the original harness for the original headlamp bulbs. wear rubber gloves while handling them and open the hood look for the back of the origional headlamps and once found turn them either clockwise or counterclockwise which ever allows movement and once turned as far as they can go pull towards the rear of the car. you should see the old bulb and be able to wiggle it out or pull away the plastic clamps holding the bulb in once removed insert the new bulbs in the place of the old ones and replace them the same way they were taken out.

no --there are two separate light power systems for the bulbs but a shared earth wire. Bulbs blow from power fluctuations that occur from loose earth wires, dirty earth points so check the way the bulbs are put back in and ensure that they are tight.

How to change the headlight bulb 2008 yukon

Open the hood, above each headlight is 2 rods, unlatch the rods and lift striaght up, the headlight will now lift out and you can replace the bulb, It turns about 1/3 of a turn left to unlatch the bulb. After the bulb is replaced, set headlight back in place and push the rods back down, you may need to wiggle the light housing to align the holes so the rods seat all the way down.
