Question about 1998 Buick Park Avenue

1 Answer

Left signal blinks just fine- the right one only comes on for a second when you first start the car for the day, signal does not flash outside either, front or back. Its a 1998 buick, Park Ave. There was a bunch of ice under there earlier this week when I noticed the problem, but now its melted and still having problems. I looked underneath car but i am not sure how to get to the bulb either.

You have a short in the system from the water/ ice. Replace the flasher relay. When a short happens in the signals it usually results in a damaged relay. I hope this helps you wheezy314!

95 Mazda 323 Hatchback - front left turn signal works sometimes. When not working, indicator blinks fast and rear left signal light blinks quickly as well. I was told it was the bulb but how can that

Could be a faulty socket too. The flasher "blinks" slow when all lights are functioning. A short to ground, to another circuit, or an open circuit can make the flasher blink fast.

Hey I literally just today had the same problem, put a new bulb in the light was on but did not blink!!!! SUPER EASY SOLUTION, you simply have the bulb in too far. I gently pulled mine out a tiny bit and it started working fine... guarantee that's all that's happening to you!!!

I have an 02 kia sportage. my signal lights come on but dont blink outside. no lights for the signal lights come on on the dash at all. also, no hazard lights.

If the 15A HAZARD fuse in the passenger compartment fuse box is OK, power is getting to the hazard function of the flasher unit. Pressing the hzard switch should cause the hazard lights to flash. HOWEVER, there is an electronic time and warning indication system module connected to to the hazard switch lead and that may be affecting things. If the 10A TURN fuse is OK, power is applied to the turn switch (with the engine in START or RUN) and you state you can select a right or left turn. HOWEVER, the RED/WHT and RED/BLU outputs from the flasher unit connect directly to the front and rear turn lamps and the instrument cluster turn indicators so you are not getting any flasher output. Again, that electronic time & warning indication system module could be affecting things

Saturn 2002 VUE Turn Signal not working properly.

You need to check your left side turn/park lamp bulbs for correct part # & installation. If that checks out you deffinetely have a ground problem. When you have other lights blinking with you turn signals you have either a bulb incorrect or a bad/poor ground. If bulbs check out check your forward lamp harness ground.Hope this helps
