Depends on the sort of noise ,is or could it be a bearing?? if so then take the timing cover off and look for the tensioner and this is a bearing so use a thin screwdriver to pull the plastic grease cover back ,squirt of engine oil and finger of grease then push the plastic cover back in and try that

What is the growling noise coming from my 94 civic motor

Water pump or pulley most likely.

Always replace water pump and pulleys when you do the timing belt.

Also you may have overtightened the belt.

NOTE, Kevlar belts will make a "whirring" noise for a few thousand miles after replacement, but not a growling.

Double check the fuses under the hood.
If there is no problems there, you have to open the hatch trim by popping off the clips. Look for the connectors enure they are non corroded or loose.

Drove it home everything was ok! went out the next

sounds like a broken timing belt, timing belts like to break during engine cranking and engine shut down. there are inspection holes in the timing cover,if you can't determine, remove top half of timing cover and check belt for slap,if there's slap,it's broke.
