This sounds like there is some wear in the valve systems rocker assembly.this is normal wear and tear with this many miles.the rockers may just need to be adjusted to take away the noise.when it gets warm the metal expands enough to take up the clearance.

lack of oil to lifters, was a common ford thing back in the 80s, when did you last change the oil? sometimes old oil causes the issue, i had a bronco that would start doing it every 4000 miles unless i changed the oil.. try a thinner oil, 5w30, or 5w20..might fix the problem

Will not start

Does it do anything when you try to start it? Like make any noise? if so what does it sound like? TICK TICK TICK? Or will the keys even go in the ignition? Will the keys turn or not at all?

Ticking sound

I have found that most of the time it is the brakes that start ticking when needing to be changed. Some will squeal and some will click a lot depends on the type of rotors you have on the car.

From a stop, when you start to accelerate, the car skip like the transmission is out of sync. Once it starts going it shifts fine. This only happens after the car has warmed up (5-6miles of driving).

I have an intermittent Motor tick, I am pretty sure it is in the motor because the ticking increases with the RPMs. It has happened twice once it stopped in just a few min. The 2nd time it lasted for...

If engine has 100,000 miles or more, whether V6 OR V8 it is common for timing chain tensioners & guides to become worn. If problem persists or increases to always you will probably need to have them replaced.

It is likely pistons that are a little loose. It won't hurt anything, it is normal GM thing when they get some miles on them.
