You have a short in the wire somewhere that bypasses the ignition switch. As a mechanic i strongly suggest taking it to a shop because of risk of fire. Please rate this solution if i was of any help.

Thank you!

I have a 2004 Impala. when I turned off the ignition myheater blower stayed on what can i do tofix it cheap?

More than likely the resistor for the heater motor is causing the problem
it is located behind the heater motor under the dash on the passengers side. If the heater motor is making noises it may be drawing to much and caused the resistor problem.

Sounds like the ignition switch is shorted, it may have overheated and the wires may be touching. On a Honda the electrical part of the ignition switch can be replaced without removing the mechanical part. Remove the column cover and check for burnt wires at the switch.
