Check to see if the power steering pump is still turning. If you have a broken drive belt (serpentine belt or "fan" belt), and the pump doesn't turn, you have no power assist. If the pump is still turning, check the fluid level in the reservoir.

all you gotta do is carfully pry the dash panel off (prying from the far left end is easiest) completely remove panel. then there are 2 clips that hold the factory sterio in place. push on the both clips while pulling the radio out. simply disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the radio. using an adapter avaliable at your local radio shop (scosche p/n gm02, mdarb and gm1483b) wiring harness, dash install kit, and antenna adapter. then simply match the colors on the new radio's harness to the adapter harness, crimping each connection with a "but plug". then simply follow the instructions included with the dash install kit to assemble the kit.connect the antenna adapter to radio, plug in all cables. test to see if everything works properly before the final install. install sterio into dash install kit, re installing kit where origional radio was. then simply put the panel back in its place by firmly pushing on it untill it snaps into place. then enjoy your new radio!

Off center steering wheel is very common, a good front end man will drive the car/truck and verify that the wheel is centered, it is not a mechanical problem just an adjustment issue, go to an outside shop or another dealer and tell them u just want the wheel straight, remember the road has a slight angle to drain water off, it's called road crown, tell them you want the wheel centered and to take road crown into account when they do it, make sure the front end man double checks the center by means of a good road test on varied road surface, tell them where it is that the off center is most noticeable, all this is from personnel experience, I am a fanatic about the wheel being centered. I sounds like you need to grease the intermediate shaft. GM sells a kit that consists of a plug and a bag of grease for around $18. It has been a few years since I bought it so the price could have went up. They also offer an update shaft for around $100. I am nearly 100% sure this is your problem. I have a 03 Yukon and have done it 3 times in 120,000 miles.
There are a few other posibilities, but they are not so cheap. The next logical problem could be the power steering pump or the valve in the gear box.

I'm not sure if that truck has rack and pinion steering, or a steering sector. In either case, it sounds like you have stuck valve and the hydraulic pressure is fighting you, instead of helping you. When ever you turn the steering wheel the valve is supposed to move and direct the hydraulic oil pressure to help you steer. The valve is built into the sector or the rack and pinion, you may have to replace the assembly. There are companies that recondition those items so you might want to shop around.
